I caught them above the desk, on the fridge, beside the mattress, below the mirrors, within the produce drawers, on prime of the bathroom. I used to be a mantra maniac who was single-handedly holding coloured markers, index playing cards, and painters’ tape in enterprise.

“My outer world is a mirrored image of my internal world.” “My happiness is a selection.” “I’m making a life I really like.” In every single place I seemed these constructive affirmations have been trying again at me, reminding me that my ideas create my actuality, so I higher assume the very best ideas.

And these good ideas felt good… after I felt good. Repeating them throughout constructive moments was like including some rainbow sprinkles to an already superior ice cream sundae: completely synergistic. Including some rainbow sprinkles to a burnt lasagna? Not a lot. Throughout life’s messier moments, I observed that mantras truly began to turn out to be a part of the issue.
