How I Stopped 3 Blood Pressure Medications: Wheat-Free

[VidSitePro id=36 ]I’m convinced that it’s not human food it wasn’t you know these grasses were not what we evolved eating today it’s not convenient to have to put medications into your body to counteract the effects about we’d like blood pressure medications or whatever what kind of people do you think could benefit from going wheat free anybody that’s breathing you know as a pediatrician up I think I’ve always thought diet was important to some degree and a frequently told patients at but I really had no idea we had next to no training in the importance of diet in medical school residency and and I didn’t really pay that much ditch him on the pen I guess I tried to be reasonably healthy meaning getting some fruits and vegetables into my diet but I didn’t pay any attention to beyond that and then having a short conversation with you once about your family I’m getting wheat out of out of you diet I thought it was a little odd when you first mentioned it because I had not heard anything about that and we didn’t have time to have much more conversation it was just a few minutes that we bumped into each other and but it made me curious so started looking into it and and picked up a copy of the book Wheat Belly and read it and it was very convincing and illuminating and and I didn’t really have any issues that were discussed in the book overweight but up but I thought you were all at risk for heart disease eventually and it sounds like if you eat wheat if you’re going to have our attack you’re going to have it sooner if you’re going to get Alzheimer’s someday you’re gonna get a center if you’re eating something that’s that inflammatory so I decided to stop being weak and about six weeks later I noticed that back pain that I’d had for decades was easing up and then just went away entirely I had a couple of minor car wrecks several decades ago wasn’t seriously injured but it jacked up my back and it hurt a little bit every day sometimes quite a bit but it just stopped that constant input of something that was causing inflammation having had it withdraw and finally allowed it to just stop being irritated but then I noticed my blood pressure was dropping I every day that I was at work three days a week in Odessa I would have one of my nurses take my blood pressure and it was always elevated I was on three different medications for it but it would it was still on a good day 150 over 90 and I don’t know why I’d have him take it every every time I was there but I was just willing it to be lower I didn’t want to be on more medication but it started it started once again a six or seven weeks after not eating wheat it started dropping more and more and and I would like systolic somewhere then 90s diastolic in the fifties and I and I it took me another week to put it together I stopped taking my medicines and all together and it was any systolic was anywhere between 100 and 120 diastolic anywhere between 60 and 80 and medet it stayed that way all from not eating wheat and I I hadn’t read anything up to that point about that affecting your blood pressure but you know the inflammation is the basis for most chronic disease and right and it does bad things to your metabolism on many levels and make pathways I suppose so I’m real happy that I donate weight anymore recommend it to everybody what kind of people do you think could benefit from going wheat free anybody that’s breathing well once again even if you don’t have any any health problems you’re going to and if you are genetically predisposed to having chronic illness as you as you age osteoarthritis Alzheimer’s cardiovascular disease it’s it’s going to happen sooner if you’re putting stuff in your body that constantly produces a little bit of inflammation so it’s not I’m convinced that it’s not human food it wasn’t you know these grasses were not what we evolved eating and introduce them into our or our diet you know if you’re starving if you don’t have anything else to eat by all means you know you need to eat grains but but especially modern wheat it just doesn’t happen it doesn’t have a place in our diet it’s not convenient in our world and our society to be wheat free it’s just so much easier to grab a sandwich or a pack one to take with you to work or to get a pizza or there’s so many things that wrapped in bread make them easier to eat but it’s it’s not inconvenient to have back pain every day it’s not convenient to have to put medications into your body to counteract the effects about reflect blood pressure medications or whatever well I just do a lot more among cooking and buy I buy more fresh vegetables that I either cook or or eat raw I um I cook chicken breasts or or a hamburger patty or or whatever I do spend more time cooking but I think we all want to spend more time preparing quality food instead of buying things that are made for us and I mean you know putting putting a sandwich together doesn’t require much effort and it is a lot easier but it’s it’s just so much better to spend time in the kitchen making food that you know is wholesome and and good for you it’s something that most of us don’t do anymore somebody else makes it for us and in a package or being about a fast-food joint and I miss that food I do but not so much that I’m seriously tempted to go back to you
